Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy covers two things: the Plan Universe iPhone app and this website. They are deliberately different, so they are described separately.
The app collects nothing. Plan Universe has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Your plans, sections, tasks, notes and deadlines live on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud. We cannot see any of it.
This website collects an email address only if you type one in. If you sign up for the beta we receive the name and email you enter. Nothing else about your visit is collected.
What stays on your device
Everything you create in Plan Universe — plans, sections, tasks, notes, deadlines and the layout of your mind maps — is stored locally on your iPhone.
The app also stores a small number of preferences on your device, such as whether you have seen the welcome screens and how you prefer your lists sorted. These never leave the device.
Plan generation with Apple Intelligence
When you ask the Assistant to draft a plan, your description and any photos or PDFs you attach are processed entirely on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence. Nothing you type or attach is transmitted to us or to any third party, and none of it is used to train any model. This feature requires an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, your plans sync through your own private iCloud database, so a new iPhone can pick up where your last one left off.
This data sits in your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID. We have no access to it, cannot read it and cannot recover it for you. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can stop syncing at any time by turning off iCloud for Plan Universe in your device settings; the app carries on working from local storage.
Notifications
If you give a task a deadline, the app schedules a reminder on your device. Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by iOS. No push server is involved and no information about your tasks is transmitted.
This website
The page you are reading is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does not track visitors.
It has one form: the beta sign-up. If you submit it, the name and email address you type are delivered to us by EmailJS, a third-party service that handles the sending. We use your address only to contact you about the beta. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to any unrelated mailing list. Ask us at the address below and we will delete it.
If you never submit the form, the site receives nothing about you beyond the ordinary server request needed to load the page.
If you contact us
The app's feedback menu opens your own mail app with a message addressed to us. If you choose to send it, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply and to fix problems.
The menu also links to public profiles on Threads, LinkedIn and Mastodon. Those services are run by other companies and have their own privacy policies.
Children
Plan Universe is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because the app collects no data at all, no information about a child is ever transmitted to us.
Your rights
For the app, we hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. You stay in full control: deleting the app removes its local data, and turning off iCloud sync or deleting the app's iCloud data removes the synced copy from your account.
For the beta sign-up, the only thing we hold is the name and email you submitted. Write to us and we will send you a copy or delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
